Vista: using virtual CDs

By Rich Campbell

I've been using MS Virtual CD (download link) for mounting disc images to virtual drives in XP for some time. So when I was setting up my development PC (running Vista) in my home office, I naturally downloaded Virtual CD so that I didn't have to go through all the trouble of burning all of my IMG and ISO files to CD before installing.

Well I spent way too much time trying to get VIrtual CD to work only to figure out that it just plain doesn't work on Vista....

After a few quick searches though i found Virtual Clone Drive -- and not only does it work on Vista, it is faster and easier to use as well!
