Testing Web Sites in IE6

By Rich Campbell

A co-worker had recently brought up the fact that he needs to test one of his site designs on a browser that (as developers and just techies in general) we have left behind.  I speak of IE6 of course.  Today I happened across some great information posted on the IE Blog.

In short: to implement this solution, one would utilize the Virtual PC 2004 software along with the IE6 Testing VPC Image. This does the trick, aside from the fact that this VPC is "time bombed" -- and will not work after April 1st.  There is also information in the post regarding the newer beta version of Virtual PC that Vista users will need to use.
