Web development firm’s Anthony Overkamp, creative director, and Brian Dukes, chief technology officer, present sessions on leveraging DNN to increase productivity and improve user experiences

ST. LOUIS – January 10, 2017 – Engage, experts in the design and development of web and mobile solutions for enterprises, announces in addition to leading sessions during DNN Summit 2017, Anthony Overkamp, creative director, will lead the Theme Design & Development pre-conference training and Brian Dukes, chief technology officer (CTO), will lead this year’s DNN Code-A-Thon. DNN Summit, an event where attendees can learn the latest design, development and marketing trends from leading DNN professionals, will take place Jan. 18 - 20, at the Embassy Suites and Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.

Overkamp’s pre-conference training, taking place on Jan. 19, includes a full day of hands-on, intense learning, which will walk participants through everything from setting up a DNN environment to building a custom theme based on the best tools and practices. His conference session on Jan. 20, “UX for Beginners: Step By Step Process,” will cover methods to create better user experiences (UX), as well as go step-by-step through the UX process.

The DNN Code-A-Thon, led by Dukes on Jan. 18, gives DNN members the opportunity to get involved via a live code-a-thon. Additionally, Dukes will lead two sessions during the conference. In the session, “Creating a Build Pipeline for your JS, CSS, & More,” Dukes will review the options available to development teams to increase productivity while simultaneously broadening browser support. His second session, “Git Concepts, Tips, & Tricks,” Dukes will cover methods for getting the most out of Git to manage source code.
