Newly redesigned, responsive website providing AFSA members with easy access to vital resources and a better overall user experience (UX)
ST. LOUIS – March 7, 2016 – Engage, experts in the design and development of web and mobile solutions for enterprises, announces the launch of a new, content-rich, user-friendly website for the American Financial Services Association (AFSA), the primary trade association for the consumer credit industry. The newly redesigned, responsive website is helping AFSA provide members with easy access to vital industry resources and a better overall user experience (UX).
Serving a membership base consisting of 400 financial services companies whose employees rely on the association for the latest legislative and regulatory news and information, AFSA required a website with a greater form and function for ensuring that members could easily find this critically important information. In redesigning AFSA’s website, Engage highlighted these resources (such as AFSA’s legislative tracking system and Buyer’s Guide) and added dynamically generated content. With improved access to resources, a more intuitive site architecture and streamlined navigation pattern, users can now more quickly find the information they are looking for – even from a mobile device – while enjoying a bright, new look and feel.
Notably, Engage built the site on the flexible DNN content management system (CMS), Evoq™ Content. With Evoq, AFSA staff members are able to update content for multiple pages in a single location without the need for HTML knowledge. Engage also provided AFSA with a style guide and detailed instructions to help the organization ensure branding consistency and to save time managing the site in house.
Dan Bucherer, communications manager, AFSA, said, “Although our goals were clear – to provide an easy-to-use, content-rich website to our membership – we relied heavily on Engage for guidance and expertise throughout this project. By working with them in partnership, we successfully launched a website that will serve our association and our members well into the future. Already, we have seen an uptick in page views and have received nothing but positive feedback from our membership base.”
Lastly, Engage integrated the site with new association management software (AMS), connecting AFSA’s member database to the website. This allows AFSA members to easily update and edit their personal profiles, renew memberships and more upon login.
