DNN Platform 9.0.2 was released on February 10, 2017, as was the licensed version, Evoq 9.0.2. This security release addresses a vulnerability that can expose details of users on a site. You can read about the vulnerability on the DNN blog, as well as details on how to patch older sites that can't yet upgrade to DNN 9.0.2.

DNN Platform 9.0.1 was released on January 25, 2017, as was the licensed version, Evoq 9.0.1. This maintenance release cleaned up the display of the Persona Bar introduced into the Platform in 9.0.0, as well as other miscellaneous fixes. You can read the release notes for more details.

DNN Platform 9.0 was released on December 7, 2016, as was the licensed version, Evoq 9.0. DNN is making a serious effort this year to encourage past and current users to experience these upgraded versions, largely because the improvements in UI/UX over older versions of DNN are substantial.

On September 26, 2016, Joe Brinkman (DNN VP of Technology & Community Relations) announced: "that by the end of 2016, DNN will introduce DNN 9 with a brand new administrative experience that replaces the dated Web Forms-based admin and host modules that we use today."

DNN Platform 8.0.3 was released on May 26, 2016. while the licensed edition, Evoq, is now Evoq 8.4.2 (as noted below the two are on different version paths). NOTE: In both cases, this was an important security release resolving a vulnerability

DNN Platform 8.0 was released on January 14, 2016. while the licensed edition, Evoq, is now Evoq 8.3 (as noted earlier the two are on different version paths)

Evoq 8.1 (the licensed version of DNN) was released on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Though these updates are largely maintenance-related there are new features as well. We will provide the release notes when they are made available.

7.4 was released on February 4, 2015 (See the launch video which includes our own Brian Dukes here and Joe Brinkman's blog post on elements of the release here). Evoq 8 was also released the same day (and just 6 days earlier Evoq was named a High Performer in Web Content Management by G2Crowd).

7.3.4, a maintenance release, was released on November 13, 2014 (See release notes). As for the next major upgrades, DNN Evoq 8.0 (the licensed version of DNN) was released on February 4, 2015, and DNN 7.5 (the open-source, free DNN Platform) is expected in Spring 2015.

7.3.3 was released on October 1, 2014. This was a stabilization release. Details on the release can be found on the DNN Community Blog.

7.3.2 was released on August 14, 2014. This release improved security and profile management. It helps differential real user profiles from computer generated ones and provides tighter control for user verification.

7.3.1 was released on June 25, 2014. Details can be found on the DNN Community Blog.

Last week, DNN's Shaun Walker announced the release of the latest version of DNN (formerly DotNetNuke), DNN 7.3, on his blog at the DNN Software website. He shared this was a major release, which was focused on performance and stability. The release covered a whopping 450 issues,

The highlight of the release is that DNN 7.3 offers faster page response time. If you're not paying attention to your site's speed timings, you should be. With the ever-continuing adoption of mobile as the preferred point of interaction, speed matters more than ever.

In addition, administrators will be happy to find a more responsive user experience, especially on larger scale web sites (which was good news to us, since that's Engage's sweet spot).

As with previous versions of DNN, along with other community contributors, Engage team members (and DNN MVPs), Brian Dukes and Oliver Hine, contributed directly to the release. We're very proud of their efforts and are happy to be part of such a strong community.

The free version, DNN Platform 7.3, is now available for download at DNN Software. For Evoq Content or Evoq Content Enterprise licensed versions, please contact me directly at jstone(at)engagesoftware.com.
