Configuring SMTP Settings for DotNetNuke

If you're DotNetNuke portal isn't sending emails as you would expect you likely haven't configured your SMTP settings properly.

To configure your SMTP settings try the following.

  1. Login as a SuperUser (usually Host)
  2. In the Menu go to the Host/Host Settings page
  3. On the page go to Advanced Settings
  4. SMTP Server Settings
  5. Configure with the SMTP settings provided by your hosting environment or system administrator
