It's been a busy year so far for Engage, full of new capabilities, partnerships, and opportunities. With the launch of the Siteimprove CMS plugin for DNN, our partnership with Sitefinity, and the opening of our Sarasota office, our company continues to grow to meet our clients' needs. With these exciting changes comes new staff to support our efforts. Engage is pleased to welcome Kristen Palm, project manager & digital strategist and Peter Tran, software developer, to our growing team!
Kristen brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing and project management to her position at Engage. With expertise in website maintenance, marketing/advertising strategy, event management, budget development, and more, Kristen will work to successfully plan and execute a variety of projects across the company. An alumnus of Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing communications, Kristen comes most recently from a digital project management role at Nestle Purina. She has a track record of successfully managing multi-million dollar digital marketing initiatives for big name brands, including Fancy Feast, Tidy Cats, and Pro Plan, and she has the strong communication skills necessary to build lasting client relationships.
Being able to handle a multitude of projects comes naturally to Kristen, who, when not at work is busy playing with and caring for her two children (Ava and RJ), two dogs (Biscuit and Bambi), and two cats (Waffles and Skittles). In her downtime, she enjoys exercising, catching up on "The Big Bang Theory", and trying new restaurants.
Peter comes to us with a passion for developing engaging projects while collaborating with a creative technical team. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Cornell College, Peter has worked as a programmer designing and maintaining a variety of client-facing and internal web applications. He has also served as a game developer for Tokenly Inc. where he developed a multiplayer card game using the Unity Game Engine and C#. Peter's proficiencies include Javascript, C#, Java, and Python, and his creativity and technical abilities will be a great asset to our software development team.
Peter's favorite video games to play are PUBG and Dwarf Fortress and his favorite board games are Werewolf and Pandemic. While not at work or gaming, Peter enjoys fencing, developing video games, and going on hikes with his wife. In 2015, he even scaled the highest peak in Central America, Volcan Tajumulco. Peter and his wife also spend their time taking their dog Sidney on walks around St. Louis.
